Physician Office-Based Ambulatory Infusion

Infusion therapy, for specific disease states, is provided by collaborative care teams, which combine the skills and expertise of the physician, pharmacist, and nurse to benefit the patient.

Infusion Nurses (FT/PT/PRN)

Day to Day Duties:
o Comprehensive Nursing Assessment
o Establish IV Access
o Patient Teaching and/or Instructions of Medication and Disease Process
o Medication Administration
o Patient Safety, Monitoring, and Follow Up
o Managing the Nursing Functions of the Site
o Coordinating Patient Care with Pharmacist and Physician
