Working at Aurora Health Care where nurses have twice received Magnet Designation, the highest honor for nursing care awarded by the American Credentialing Center.

You will have the opportunity to work on our Women's Health Unit caring for women in labor, delivery, post partum, and antepartum. You will be able to provide consistent care to mom and baby by caring for the babies in the nursery. Currently our unit has 6 LDRP's (labor, delivery, recovery, post partum) but will be expanding to 8 in 2008!

Performing the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic, quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

Obtaining patient history and accomplishing head-to-toe assessment.

Making pertinent nursing judgments in keeping with the patient's clinical situation.

Communicating effectively with the patient and their family to provide necessary emotional support.

Interacting professionally with physician and other members of the health care team.

We are seeking a RN with OB experience or a higher level of Med Surg experience. Previous nursing experience required.

General Qualifications

Requires a degree in Nursing from an associate, diploma or baccalaureate degree program.

One to two years experience required.

Requires a current Wisconsin nursing license or a valid Wisconsin temporary permit.

Must successfully complete on-the-job orientation.

Nursing experience is required for this position preferably in OB.

Desired Qualifications

STABLE certified.
