Registered Nurse-Surgery -Interventional Suites

Overview: At least 2 years of current experience in a multispecialty operationg room. Ortho experience necessary. Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with facility and departmental policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under his/her direction. The Clinical Nurse utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients on the Interventional Suites - Surgery. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age specific needs. This position requires flexibility and adaptability. There may be occasional floating to other Interventional areas, as well as some “off hours” stand by call. When on-call it is expected that the staff member be able to respond and be in the building, ready to work, within 30 minutes. Qualifications: At least 2 years of current operating room experience required in a hospital setting. Ortho Experience also required. Must possess a current valid Arizona RN license or temporary Arizona RN license. CNOR preferred. Relates throughout the interview process the experience, training and education needed to perform the job. Experience in the clinical area for which he or she is applying is desired.
