This is a stepping stone to a higher level position in the company.

You will assist the Director of Nursing Services in all of the following functions: Nursing Care, Staff Development, Care Plan and Assessment, Resident Rights, Safety and Sanitation, Administrative, Committee, Personnel, Equipment and Supply and Budget and Planning.

Requirements:

Must possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN in Massachusetts.

Must have long term care experience in a supervisory capacity.

Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.

Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions.

Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, personnel and the general public.


Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.

Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices
