Registered Nurse (RN) / Quality Management Specialist
We are a Managed Care Plan looking for a Registered Nurse or equivalent medical professional to perform quality management activities. The Quality Management Specialist will collect HEDIS data, analyze data for quality improvement activities and assist medical providers with quality improvement projects. Some medical case management activities may also be required.

Responsibilities:
· Design and implement HEDIS and quality improvement projects for managed care plan
· Interpret and analyze HEDIS statistical reports
· Develop and implement provider education program to improve quality outcomes
· Problem solve medical care related issues with providers
· Participate in Quality Assurance Committee meetings and company activities
Requirements:
The ideal candidate must be a Registered Nurse or equivalent medical professional. Knowledge of CPT coding is required. Strong computer skills especially in Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of the HEDIS process, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Individual must possess the ability to effectively present medical information one-on-one and to small groups. Prior managed care experience preferred.
