Providing direct patient care to patients recovering from surgery or Cath Lab procedures
Developing a working knowledge of procedures in all surgical specialties needing anesthesia
Ensuring excellent patient care through partnerships with multiple disciplines and surgeons
Establishing and growing your skills in a team-focused environment with motivated staff
Providing care for patients recovering from general, IV sedation, or regional anesthesia
Receiving special training for the PACU, as well as the pre-operative Surgical Holding Area (SHA)
Ensuring patient care through accurate documentation during surgical procedures
Collaborating with an experienced surgical team while being a patient advocate
Providing accurate & up-to-date information for the patient and their family

General Qualifications
Wisconsin Registered Nurse Licensure or eligibility is REQUIRED
BLS and ACLS are REQUIRED; certification or re-certification is available

Desired Qualifications
Previous PACU experience preferred
PALS is preferred
