We have exceptional opportunities available for O.R. Nurses at our 336-bed hospital, part of a large integrated medical center, located in Seattle, WA. You will participate in collaborative practice and shared governance in an environment where nurses excel and are valued.At VMMC we have 19 Operating Rooms plus a Litho Unit. Our O.R. Nurses care for the surgical patient through the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative periods. You will perform a number of duties, including patient assessment, creating a sterile environment, monitoring patients' mental and physical status, coordination of care, and provision of resources.Your background must include current Washington State RN license and operating room experience. Circulating and scrubbing experience is preferred. CPR certification is required every two years or as specified.
