Overview: Washakie Medical Center is a 25-bed critical access hospital with "big city" capabilities including: 16 slice CT, digital mammography, 1.5 tesla MRI, fluro, full service lab with state of the art equipment, Level III trauma ED staffed with fulltime physicians, surgery services which include 24/7 CRNA coverage including OB epidurals, 2 general surgeons, orthopedic surgery, and ambulatory treatment, numerous wellness activities, and active rehab department including pool therapy and cardiac rehab, sleep studies, total PFTs, and electronic medical records. Please take a moment to visit the Worland Chamber of Commerce website to see just a few of the great reasons why Worland is such a great place!! www.worlandchamber.com Pay Opportunity is: $20.30 - $32.43 per hour Responsibilities: The Obstetric Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the provision of nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process and in accordance with the Wyoming Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies and procedures and accepted Standards of Care. The obstetric nurse will perform and implement all aspects of the nursing process in the delivery of patient care through assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the needs of the patient. The Obstetric registered nurse is responsible for identification of educational needs of the patient and is accountable for ongoing evaluation, re-assessment and documentation of all components of care delivered to patients and their families at Washakie Medical Center, including coordination and direct supervision of the daily routines. The Obstetric registered nurse will be responsible for all obstetric patients during a worked shift. If no obstetric patients are admitted to the hospital during the shift, the Obstetric nurse will float to the Medical/Surgical Unit. Following birth of a neonate, the Obstetric nurse will be responsible for couplet care Qualifications: A current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Wyoming.
