Advocate South Suburban Hospital is currently seeking ICU Nurses. The RN staff nurse assumes primary responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for assigned patients. A Nurse Clinician II plans and sets goals that demonstrate a holistic approach to patients and families. Assumes leadership responsibilities at the unit level. Demonstrates a mastery of clinical skills. Qualifications:   Good communication skills Computer skills Good time management and organizational skills Familiarity with patient care equipment Graduate from an accredited school of nursing Earn 5.0 continuing education credits annually Minimum 6months to 1 year of experience Approval of site Clinical Advancement Board Current Illinois RN license Current CPRTwelve Hour: 7P-7A  Advocate South Suburban Hospital is a 291-bed facility, providing Chicago’s south suburbs with a wide range of comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic and ambulatory medical services using state of the art technology.  The Family Birth Center, which provides a Level II intensive care nursery, offers 16 single room maternity suites, a family centered concept in which a woman goes through the birthing process all in the same private suite.  South Suburban Hospital has a Skilled Nursing Center, a 46-bed facility within their site, that provides a sub-acute “bridge” for patients that are being released from acute care, but are not quite well enough to go home or to a custodial nursing facility.  Expanded in 2004, South Suburban’s Emergency Department is state of the art, providing privacy to patients and their families.  South Suburban Hospital is located in Hazel Crest, IL.   Job Title: Registered Nurse: Intensive Care Unit (RN- ICU)Company: Advocate Health CareLocation: Hazel Crest, IL 60429Status: Full Time, EmployeeJob Category: Medical/HealthCareer Level: Experienced (Non-Manager)
