Recreation Therapist
Fort Vancouver Convalescent Center is looking for a full-time Recreation Therapist to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. Fort is a privately-owned skilled nursing facility with no productivity requirements, a full therapy kitchen, computerized documentation, and Wii. Our therapists have over 300 years of experience and provide skilled PT, OT, and ST to over 40 patients each day. Fort's rehabilitation staff has a variety of additional training and certifications from Reiki and aquatic therapy to Chinese medicine and acupuncture.
Applicants MUST have a current standing as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, or be eligible to obtain certification according to the standards set by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification prior to starting employment. Experience with adult/geriatric clients and program development is a plus.
