Recreation Coordinator
Margaret Tietz Adult Day Health Care Center (Flushing, NY) is one shining facet of Beth Abraham Family of Health Services. We provide quality medical care to the elderly. Services include social, nutritional, and rehabilitative care on a daily basis.
Margaret Tietz is seeking a full time Recreation Coordinator. The ideal candidate will evaluate registrant’s needs and develop a recreation program. Prepare & manage monthly schedule of activities. Lead & participate in individual sessions and group activities. Participates in the development of registrants care plans along with other members of the interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications include, BS degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field; CTRS certification preferred. Two or more years experience working with a diverse geriatric population. Bilingual (Spanish, Chinese, Russian) a plus.
