Jennersville Regional Hospital, a 59-bed community hospital has more than 400 employees. We have more than 85 medical staff members with specialties represented by a variety of physicians. The facility offers a full range of services including 24-hour emergency care, cancer care, cardiovascular testing, a clinical laboratory, diabetes education, dietary and nutritional services, home care and hospice services, imaging, an intensive care unit, a medical surgical unit, physical, occupational and speech therapy, Women’s Center, sleep lab services, sports medicine and rehabilitation services, a surgery center and more.
We are conveniently located minutes off Route 1 in a beautiful growing community in Southern Chester County. We are approximately ½ hour from West Chester, PA, Wilmington, DE or Elkton, MD.
* Functions interdependently with the surgeon and applies knowledge, skill, and judgment necessary to assist the surgeon in performing a safe operation.
* Ensures appropriate use of instruments, retractors, suctioning and sponging techniques.
* Performs clamping of blood vessels, coagulating bleeding points, ligating vessels and other procedures in collaboration with the surgeon to achieve haemostasis.
* Sutures muscle, fascia, subcutaneous and skin tissue and handles/dissects tissues in collaboration with the surgeon. Days with call rotation.
Requires completion of First Assistant program and active PA RN license
