- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing - CPR Certification - Florida License or Eligibility Required - 3-5 years experience is required - Supervisory experience is preferred GENERAL SUMMARY: Demonstrates commitment to the vision, core purpose/mission and goals of LRMC, modeling the values and culture. In addition to professional duties of RN caregiver, performs collateral supervisory duties, including coaching and mentoring, collaborating with and motivating staff, leading by example, performace evaluation and development, counseling, rounding and conflict management. Performs other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Preferred: Required: Excellent skills in communication and resolution conflict. Demonstrates tact, timeliness, coaching, accountability, commitment, leadership to achieve goals, ability to influence others and resource management. Ability to satisfactorily perform all the essential functions of the job, including age-specific and department-specific competencies.EDUCATION: Preferred: BSN strongly preferred. Required: Must complete the LRMC Supervisors' Training (e.g. Supervisor Orientation and/or Team Leader Toolkit) within the first six months in role. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.EXPERIENCE: Preferred: At least 3 years in acute care setting in area of specialty. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Required: 3-5 years experience as registered nurse. Job Code 0236 must have at least 18 months L&D experience and normally be scheduled to work at least 40 hours/pay period. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/OTHER: Preferred: Certification in specialty strongly preferred. Required: Current license as registered nurse in Florida.
