RN in Sheboygan Clinic Surgery Dept

Job Description Would you like to pick up a few more hours and do something a little different. Come join us in the role of Esophageal Manometry and pH testing nurse. Job duties include, but are not limited to the following: educating patient in the procedure and GERD(gastroesophageal reflux disease); Prepping patient for procedure and inputting data into computer;Calibrating equipment; Performing insertion of pH catheter; Running report from computer; Analyzing/marking Esophageal Mamnometry studies and communicate results to provider; Communicate any pertinent information to provider and patient; Order necessary equipment; Contact technical support as needed. RN will be provided with a pager to wear so that patients can reach RN for any questions or concerns they may have.

General Qualifications
License Registered Nurse in State of Wisconsin. 2 - 3 years experienced RN (within the last 10 yrs) in a medical surgical setting or nursing home or comparable specialty experience required. Strong clinical and assessment skills to include IV administration. Current CPR certification required or it must be renewed within six months of hire date and maintained annually. Strong customer service, patient center care, teaming, communication and computer skills (including windows)

Desired Qualifications
Previous nursing experience within a clinic environment and the specialty area..Proficient in a foreign language..
