Mills-Peninsula Health Services, a not-for-profit corporation, operates two community health facilities with a total of 403 inpatient beds. Peninsula Medical Center in Burlingame is an acute care hospital. Mills Health Center in San Mateo provides a wide range of outpatient services, including surgery, rehabilitation and diagnostics.Mills-Peninsula Health Services has deep roots in San Mateo County. Mills Hospital opened in 1907 and Peninsula Hospital opened its doors four miles north in Burlingame in 1954. The two merged in 1985 and affiliated with Sutter Health in 1996, becoming Mills-Peninsula Health Services. Mills-Peninsula is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.Provide patient care (8 hour shifts). Relocation assistance and Sign-on Bonus available.California RN license; BLS(AHA) and PALS certification required. Experienced Pediatric Nurse with minimum of 3 years recent acute care inpatient pediatrics experience required.
