The 24-hour Emergency Services Department features a specially trained Sexual Assault Response Team and a Heart and Stroke Center. Rising to meet the ever-changing needs of a growing and diverse community, Bakersfield Memorial Hospital is expanding with a new tower and 114 additional beds due to be completed in 2009. An integrated wireless network facility-wide will compliment the expansion and high level of care already available to our patients. Become a part of Bakersfield Memorial Perform a physical and psychosocial assessment on each patient within 24 hours of admission. Input admission data and full MDS nursing physical/psychosocial assessment into computer. Oversee the input of assessments and care plans by ancillary services. Develop plans of care based on federally triggered RAP and other identified patient problems using the nursing process to develop problem statements, goals, interventions and evaluations. Review/revise care plans and MDS as necessary; i.e. change in patients condition. Transmit MDS per OBRA regulations.
