We have the following opportunity available in Portland, Oregon. RN, Inpatient, OFN, Mental HealthOn-call, various shifts Under general supervision and in collaboration with other members of the health care team, you will use clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat human responses to actual or potential health problems. Primary responsibilities include assessing, planning, directing, providing, and evaluating nursing care for patients and coordinating nurse care activities with other health care disciplines.Qualified candidates will be graduates of an accredited nursing program, must have current Oregon RN licensure upon hire, and must obtain BLS with AED certification within 30 days of hire. Also required are nine months of recent med/surg or mental health experience, the ability to set up and provide therapeutic milieu for mental health and co-occurring chemical dependency patients, and successful completion of therapeutic interaction course within three months of hire. Candidates must also be knowledgeable about psychotropic medications and side-effects. A bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field is preferred.
