We're hiring for positions throughout the company -- learn more about how you can build your career with St. David's HealthCare!Unit Description: Surgical Services provides exceptional care for a broad range of surgical patients, consisting of 8 state-of-the-art OR suites performing all types of orthopedic, general surgery, urology, OB/GYN, ENT, podiatry, neurosurgery and cardiovascular procedures, including open heart. There is also a 18-bed PACU, a 18-bed OPS unit, and an Endoscopy/Special Procedure suite. These units enjoy flexible scheduling with a low annual staff turnover rate. Performing over 5,300 procedures annually, our goal is to provide high quality care with optimal patient outcomes. Position Description: ***NOTE *** Full time or Part time with Endoscopy RN with at least 1 year experience.Under the indirect supervision of the Supervisor(s) of the unit, the Registered Nurse is expected to implement the nursing process (including use of using diagnosis), documents nursing activities and intervention plan, as well as medication administered. The R.N. provides leadership and supervises the care, maintenance and activities of the surgical suite.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Required:  previous Endoscopy tech experience is required and RN experience in endoscopy.
