RN – Education / Prevention Coordinator - Trauma

Einstein is seeking an Education/Prevention Coordinator to promote outreach efforts in trauma prevention and support clinical staff education for all units that make up the continuum of trauma care.

Albert Einstein Medical Center is a teaching hospital offering a full range of advanced health services to the Philadelphia community and beyond. We are located at 5501 Old York Road and are proud to offer a Level I Regional Resource Trauma Center and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Einstein Medical Center has more than 600 primary care doctors and specialists on staff, with an additional 1,200 affiliated physicians.

In this position you will be responsible for:

Develop and coordinate internal continuing education program Outreach and education to community on trauma and injury prevention Support and implement the patient education process Teaching of trauma courses and in-services to nursing staff in ED, OR, SICU and med/surg units.

If you possess the following qualifications, please apply immediately:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Education required, MSN preferred Extensive experience in coordination of educational programs required Trauma-related experience/background required Pennsylvania RN required
