Sava is a leader in long term care, skilled nursing! Sava has 185 long term care facilities across the country. Sava is corporately located in Atlanta, GA. Sava is currently seeking an RN, Director of Regulatory Affairs to join it's corporate nursing team.The Director of Regulatory Affairs' role provides support, training, clinical and technical advice in the areas of regulation and standards of resident care and clinical practice. Consults with all levels of the organization on regulatory issues. Responsibilities – 1. Maintain system to track regulatory occurrences to include communication/notification, database management and reporting 2. Provide education as identified or requested for regional, district and facility staff on regulatory process/requirements 3. Support region, district and facility staff in plan of correction development as required/requested 4. Liaison with legal department on critical regulatory issues, including substandard or IJ designations, IDR, Appeal or CMPs 5. Lead projects as assigned 6. Represents the department and company on related committees, workgroups and professional organizationsRequirements Bachelors degree nursing is required.Current/Active RN license.3-5 years multi-state and multi-facility clinical operations.Experience in successful plan of correction development/submission; IDR. Thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations governing long term care.Strong organizational skills in managing large volumes of paper and electronic data.Exceptional computer skills in basic software programs and ability to manage database.Must be able to live in Atlanta, GA, or be willing to relocate to Atlanta.
