Peninsula Regional Medical Center is a nationally recognized, state of the art, 366-bed tertiary care facility located on the beautiful Eastern Shore of Maryland that is one of Maryland's largest and fastest growing Healthcare systems. Peninsula Regional's $100 million expansion and renovation project-the largest ever in Wicomico County.

We are seeking a part time RN for Diabetes Education. This position will function as an educator in a variety of settings and with a variety of audiences. Will act as teacher, facilitator, coach and mentor demonstrating expertise in theories, methods and strategies relative to learning. The major focus will be audiences of individuals with diabetes, and their support persons.

Must be Certified Diabetes Educator or meet requirements to take certification exam. A minimum of three years experience in clinical health care and experience preferred in Management/Teaching roles also required. Graduate of an accredited school with a Bachelorâ€™s of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. Licensed and current registration as a registered nurse in the State of Maryland or Delaware also preferred.
