RN - CVOR (DAYS & EVENINGS)
The CVOR Department at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center plays a critical role within the Cardiac Service Line of Excellence supporting it’s “Heart & Lung Institute”, the only stand-alone lung transplant center in the Nation. The CVOR currently has three surgical suites conducting 300 congenital heart cases, 125 thoracic and 250 adult heart cases. The current staffing ratio for these cases includes two RN circulators, a cardiothoracic scrub technician, and Physician’s Assistant. Additional staff includes a clinical monitoring technical and staff perfusion. The hours of operation for the department are from 6:30 am to 7pm. Available shifts include; 6:30am to 3pm and 11am 7pm with participation in a call rotation covering evening and night hours as well as weekends shifts. Minimum Requirements: The successful RN candidate must be able to circulate complex pediatric/congenital and adult cardiovascular and thoracic cases having knowledge in all phases of the surgical process with two years of RN experience preferred. - AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State.
