RN - INPATIENT MENTAL HEALTH UNIT

We are searching for a part time inpatient Behavioral Health Nurse.Schedule:
Part time, 40 hours per 2 week pay period, 7:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M.

Inpatient Mental Health Unit Profile:
* 34 bed adult Psychiatric program located in the central tower at McLaren Regional Medical Center.
* All patients on voluntary admission status.
* Acute psychiatric care with average length of stay about 6 days.
* Unit functions on three 8 hour shifts:
7 A.M. - 3:30 P.M.
3 P.M. - 11:30 P.M.
11 P.M. - 7:30 A.M.
* Treatment is provided utilizing a multidisciplinary team of Behavioral Health professionals - Psychiatrists, Psychiatric RNs, Psychiatric Technicians, Activity Therapists, Social Workers & Psychologist.

Position Summary:
Responsible for assessing physiological, emotional and spiritual needs of each patient within assigned unit area and planning nursing care needed to meet those needs. Responsible to see that nursing care plans are carried out through performance and/or leadership of subordinate personnel.

Required Education/Experience:
1. 2 years of related formal education/training beyond high school required.
2. Certification and registration to practice nursing in State of Michigan.

Preferred Education/Experience:
