RESPIRATORY THERAPIST, REGISTERED (Respiratory Care Practitioner II, Registered)

$19.97 - $26.03 hourly $1,597.66 - $2,082.46 biweekly $3,461.59 - $4,511.99 monthly $41,539.06 - $54,143.86 annually Riverside County Regional Medical Center is looking for Respiratory Therapists, Registered to provide respiratory care services as prescribed by physicians. Under supervisition, this position is usually assigned to critical care environments and administers therapeutic gases, aerosolized medications, basic pulmonary hygiene, provides CPR when needed, to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. Examples Of Duties: * Performs respiratory care services as prescribed by physicians; performs basic respiratory patient assessments, monitors patients undergoing respiratory care. * Provides and monitors mechanical ventilator support * Performs cardiopulmonary resuscitation, performs arterial punctures and blood gas analysis * Provides instruction in respiratory techniques to other personnel * Assumes supervisory duties in the absence of the supervising RCP Typical Qualifications: Candidates must have: * Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license issued by the Respiratory Care Board, California State Department of Consumer Affairs. * Completed a Respiratory Therapy training program approved by the American Medical Association. * Recognition by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Therapist.
