RECEPTIONIST
Diagnostic Health Corporation, multi-modality facilities offering a combination of outpatient diagnostic imaging services, including MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound, mammography, fluoroscopy, and nuclear medicine services currently has a Receptionist position open at it’s Huntsville, AL location.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for the general administrative/clerical duties of the unit. Medical Records experience required along with excellent customer service.
Primary ResponsibilitiesRespond timely and efficiently to all incoming callsScheduling of patient appointments Patient check-in and registrationObtaining patient billing and insurance information, maintaining accurate patient files and
billing reports as well as the coordination of patient chartsGeneral clerical functions: answering phones copying and filing of evaluations, progress notes, discharge
summaries and relating correspondencesCommunication with payers, third party payor sources and referral sources to ensure accurate billing
practicesPresent a professional image in both voice and appearance Routes correspondence through the internal mail distribution, the US Postal Service procedure, the fax
procedure, or through certified mail as is appropriate dailyAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Computer Skills
Proficiency with PC and software programs, i.e. (Word, Excel, Access)
EducationHigh School Diploma Some college preferred 1-2 Years of administrative experience
