Director of Clinical Services - Long-Term Care  Responsible for orienting, supervising, directing and developing Clinical Service Consultants.  Participates as a member of the Clinical Services team. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Â· Oversees compliance with regulatory requirements and company, state and federal standards Â· Monitors implementation of company initiatives Â· Participates in Regional-level BQS Â· Support quality management advisors Â· Supervise, motivate, train and develop a team of Clinical Services Consultants  Â· Assists Vice President of Clinical Services in hiring and orienting Clinical Services Consultants  Â· In conjunction with Vice President of Clinical Services, mentors and evaluates the performance of Clinical Services Consultants Â· Operates as a problem solver for the Region Â· Be knowledgeable of Medicaid, Medicare and other case mix systems, RAI process, Risk Management and Quality Assurance Â· Works with Risk Management and RDPS in developing regional Risk Management plan  Â· Responsible for following appropriate escalation procedures when dealing with compliance, patient liability, adverse events, and regulatory issues
