We are currently seeking an in-house Quality Assurance Coordinator in our Islandia, NY office.

 

Currently a part time position of minimum 30hrs per week with potential for full time.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: Review of medical records provided by the insurance carrier or TPA.  Prepare written communication to Independent Medical Examiners outlining the necessary issues to be addressed.  Review of written report from the examiner to confirm appropriate issues have been addressed and applicable guidelines have been followed.  Reviews all reports to ensure a timely, accurate, quality and completed IME report. Follow up with Providers when needed to obtain clarification or appropriate response to all issues requested.

 

REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or equivalency required. 4 year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. 2 years IME processing or Quality Assurance experience also preferred.  Knowledge of New York Workers’ Compensation Medical Guidelines a plus!  Must have excellent customer service, verbal and communication skills.  Experience with database and word processing applications desirable.  RN/LPN license a plus but not mandatory.
