Peoples Oakland, a community based premier recovery and wellness center, is seeking a full-time Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist for its facility in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh.Â Position responsibilities:Â planning and implementation of rehabilitation services and supports offered by PeoplesÂ Oakland; working with a caseload of adults to achieve short and long term goals for recovery; providing group counseling and education for program members; providing an atmosphere that facilitates member involvement within a framework ofÂ holistic wellness and recovery.Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in social service field preferred; experience with drug and alcohol counseling preferred; excellent interpersonal skills; strong verbal and written communication skills; valid drivers license.Hours:Â M-F, 9:30 am - 5:00 pm (some evening and weekend hours required).
