CSG, a leading provider of mental health, mental retardation, children’s and eldercare services has an opportunity for a Psychologist in our Eldercare Assessment and Resources Program.

 

CSG Eldercare Assessment and Resources is designed to meet the needs of elders through psychological, care management and educational services. Our services are individualized, intensive and driven by the needs and goals of the individual and his or her caretakers.

 

The program’s services include:

 

§ For the Caregiver - Geriatric Care Management

§ For Elders and Their Families -  Geriatric Mental Health Services

§ For the Professional - Behavioral Health Consultation

 



Job Description

 

Providing clinical services to older adults and their families through the Eldercare program.  Clinical services are delivered in a variety of settings, including long term care facilities, outpatient office, and the client’s home. Diagnostic interviews, psychotherapy services, behavior management planning and consultation/training for professional caregiver.Provide leadership in the development, promotion, and supervision of clinical services delivered by other professionals.Assist with administrative duties related to the Eldercare program.Submit accurate and timely billing information for all clinical services provided.Develop and provide continuing education training to professional caregivers in the community and within facilities severed by Eldercare Assessment and Resources.Work varied hours

 Job Qualifications

 

Candidate must hold a doctoral degree in psychology and be licensed as a psychologist in the State of Pennsylvania and be credentialed or eligible to be credentialed by Medicare to provide psychological services. Applicants must have a valid a driver’s licensed and be able to pass criminal background checks.

 

Desired Qualifications

 

Formal training and experience in work with geriatric population.
