Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

General Responsibilities:

Provide psychopharmacology treatment, including evaluations and medication follow-up, to GBVHC patients.  Provide psychiatric consultation/back-up for the health center’s medical providers, nurses, and nurse practitioners.  Confer with mental health clinicians, on an as needed basis, regarding psychopharmacological issues of Department patients.  Participate in Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement Activities as assigned by the Mental Health Director and/or Medical Director.

 

Job Qualifications:

Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatric Residency Program required.  MA Board Certified or eligible in Psychiatry and Child Psychiatry required.  Active, Unrestricted License to Practice Medicine in Massachusetts required.
