Peachtree Hospice provides a special kind of care designed to provide support for people in the final phases of terminal illness.  Our team of nurses, hospice aides, chaplains, social workers and volunteers work together on a daily basis to provide top quality care to our patients and their families.  We seek to improve the quality of life for our patients and provide support to their family members during a very stressful and trying time in their lives. 

 

Peachtree Hospice, one of the area’s largest providers of hospice care, has an opening for a Provider Relations Manager.  We have an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our marketing team in providing services to our Texarkana offices.  This position requires

 

Qualified candidates will work with our hospice team members to help educate referral sources, as well as the community, about hospice concepts and general services provided.  This position will be responsible for representing Peachtree Hospice at community organization events and business functions in a professional and responsive manner.  The Provide Relations Manager is responsible for maintaining current relationships as well as establishing and developing new business contacts through development and implementation of outlined sales and marketing strategies. 

 

 

Responsibilities include:

 

•  Meet with physicians, hospital discharge planners and nursing home staff to familiarize them with hospice services.

 

•  Establish, maintain and grow a client base from which patients are referred.

 

•  Identify new patient referral sources through networking and business relationships.

 

•  Develop and conduct informative presentations on hospice concepts to physicians, hospitals and nursing homes.

 

Qualifications include:

 

•  Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field preferred.

 

•  Minimum of 3 years' sales/marketing experience with an emphasis in healthcare.  Preference given to individuals with a Bachelor’s degree or RN licensure.

 

•  Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including an ability to work closely with a wide variety of people while effectively using problem-solving skills.

 

•  Proven skills in working independently; self motivated and goal-oriented.
