Provider Enrollment Supervisor

Day to Day Work The Provider Enrollment Supervisor plans, coordinates and evaluates the work of staff in the Provider Enrollment unit. The Unit is responsible for but not limited to: forwarding enrollment applications to all interested providers; adding providers to the Provider Master File; reviewing/processing all incoming applications to assure accurate completion and required licensing and certification documentation are present; performing all necessary file maintenance functions; entering appropriate change and termination code indicators pursuant to State notification; and implements/oversees all re-credentialing activities. The Supervisor recommends new hires, promotions and reassignments. Estimations of personnel needs, setting schedules, assigning and reviewing work to meet production requirements, including volume levels and deadlines are daily related duties. The Supervisor advises higher level management on work problems of the Provider Enrollment unit and the impact of broader problems on other units; collaborates with other units to coordinate work changes. The Supervisor also works closely with the State of NJ for all enrollment related components. Other Information Bachelor's Degree; or Three (3) years experience in health care administration/management/supervision. Experienced supervisor with attention to detail, strong organization skills, and the ability to manage a team to meet organizational and contractual goals.Strong problem solving and decision making skills. Preferred, at least 2 years of credentialing experience. NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance) exposure is beneficial. Must be able to foster effective working relationships within the organization as well as with external entities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to utilize Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access.
