Project Manager

The Project Manager reports into the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office and is responsible for planning and managing of internal/external customer facing project(s) by balancing scope, cost, time and quality to deliver customer requirements and satisfaction. Project complexity and team size will vary from medium to large. The Project Manager monitors projects daily to track progress against the schedule, resolve risks/issues and manage project changes. This position requires the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, multi-task while exercising good judgment and initiative, and be a flexible team player. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project management life cycles, and will have the ability to accurately obtain and summarize project metrics and milestone status. Job Responsibilities:* Creates and manages a thorough project plan, delivering on project objectives* Trusted communicator of project status to stakeholders* Manages changes, issues and risks to reduce threats to project schedule, cost and quality* Engages the team in the development of project schedules based on properly defined scope, resource requirements and availability * Plans and communicates how the project will be managed including risk/issue management, change control and communication. * Ensure projects meet business needs and that the project team and stakeholders understands the project value, scope, and timeline* Effectively manages issues by bringing them to the attention of management when needed* Holds regular status meetings, document and communicate project progress to all communication channels* Provides feedback on team members performance to the resource manager* Proactively communicates information needed by team members to complete their tasks and with Healthways stakeholders that play a role in the project. * Identify, document, track, escalate and resolve project risks, issues, barriers, and dependencies* Plays an active role in building alignment and integration with other ongoing projectsQualifications & Experience:* Demonstrated initiative, mature judgment and customer service orientation with the ability to anticipate customer or stakeholder needs* Bachelor degree preferred* 3 years of project management experience and/or PMP Certification required* Excellent communication, professional writing and presentation skills* Excellent interpersonal skills in working with colleagues, other departments and customers* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment but remain appropriately detail-oriented* Strong customer service and organizational skills* Strong computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, MS Project, Visio* Minimal travel may be requiredWe are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.prioritize,project management
