Program Supervisor- Vocational Program- Community Mental Health

Mosaic Community Services, Inc., a Maryland leader in the community, Mental Health services industry, is seeking to fill a Program Supervisor role within one of our Vocational services programs located in Catonsville, MD.

Duties:

Under the supervision of a Program Coordinator, participates in the initial assessment, interventions, planning and reevaluation of resident needs based on behaviors and other clinically relevant data.  Acts as a case manager for all residents.  Serves as a role model for residents on and off grounds for various activities.  Instructs, assists and monitors residents in accordance with rehabilitation treatment plans.  Coordinates services for all residents.  Acts as a liaison to other health system departments.  Acts as on-call back up for the Program Coordinator as designated.

Requirements:

Work requires the ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to maintain documentation and other record

keeping tasks and working knowledge of specific patient population served, e.g., children and adolescents with mental

disorders. These skills are normally acquired through college education or higher, including a relatively brief period of

special training in psychology or related field.

 

Work requires a one to three month orientation period to obtain sufficient familiarity with behavioral rehabilitation methods,

procedures, and specific patient population.

 

Must possess a valid driver's license at the time of hire with less than (3) points on it.

 

Must have interpersonal skills sufficient to establish therapeutic relationships with mentally ill residents and to

communicate and work effectively with residents in accordance with rehabilitation plans.

 

Work requires the ability to establish professional relationships and work effectively with representatives of all types of agencies.
