Health careThe Zucker Hillside Hospital is a 223-bed psychiatric facility known for its pioneering work in the diagnosis, treatment and research of mental illness.  The National Institute of Mental Health has established a Clinical Research Center for the study of Schizophrenia at Zucker Hillside, one of only five such facilities nationwide.  Inpatient services include treatment for general psychiatry, schizophrenia, affective disorders, mental retardation and developmental disabilities for the geriatric, child adolescent and adult populations. Outpatient services that include the treatment of chemical abuse are available.  We are currently looking for a Program Manager to be based in a school located in Far Rockaway.  The Program Manager will plan, organize and direct the operations of the various program components for the TRYCC Onsite School Services.  Duties will also include developing short and long-range plans to ensure consistent patient flow, ensuring performance standards for optimum quality of care are consistently met as well as to ensure that all quality standards required by external agencies are met.  Master's Degree in Social Work required; PHD preferred LCSW certification required Minimum of two (2) years of progressively related experience to ensure familiarity with mental health environment Strong administrative skills with understanding of managed care and other relevant administration issues required Computer Skills highly desirable
