About the Opportunity Carlisle Medical, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager (PM) who will be responsible for managing all Software Development (SD) and Information Technology (IT) projects through the complete project life-cycle. The PM will be responsible for creating and maintaining project plans and schedules that communicate tasks, subtasks, milestones, status, resource allocation and resource consumption. He will oversee the efforts of any contractors that may be performing tasks. The PM will coordinate development and delivery of alpha, beta and production releases of assigned systems to ensure that they meet quality assurance standards. He will be responsible for the development of test plans and the execution of all testing efforts. The PM is the single point of contact between management and the contractor(s) chosen to execute Software Development or IT projects. He keeps Carlisle Medical, Inc. management informed on the status of all projects.
Qualifications
Required
Extensive experience in managing enterprise SD and IT project lifecycle through all phases.
Experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle: requirements, design, development, testing, and delivery.
In-depth knowledge and experience in cost management, time management, risk management, and integration management. Experienced in SD and IT project budget analysis, outsourcing strategies, and contract management
BS in CS or IS or other technical area Proven ability to deliver high quality SD and IT products and services on schedule and under budget
Preferred
Understands team dynamics and skilled at building team spirit. Motivates team members to work together to achieve goals.
Strong technical background in systems architecture, database design, and network administration
Solid skills in writing requests for proposal (RFP) and other solicitation documentation. Excellent interpersonal skills in communications and negotiation
PMP a plus
