Stirling Behavioral Health Institute is contracted with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (LACDMH) as a provider of mental health services for children and adults in the San Fernando Valley and west L.A. County. Stirling has an immediate opening for a Program Director for its Van Nuys office. This is a full time position with med/dental/vision and other benefits.

The Program Director will: oversee the day-to-day operation of Stirling’s Van Nuys Clinic including clinic coordination duties review, update, and coordinate Stirling’s operating policies and procedures oversee all licensed clinicians and supervisors  evaluate supervisors and licensed clinicians annually or as necessary work with supervisors in reviewing all employees regularly liaison with DMH and other organizations when necessary oversee and coordinate programs with the respective program coordinators provide mental health services to clients (approximately 6-8 clients) totaling at least 600 units of service/week

Minimum requirements:
·        Doctorate degree in psychology (PsyD or PhD)
·        Licensed with the Board of Behavioral Science
·        Experience with LACDMH paperwork and policies
·        Leadership experience with similar type agencies
·        Significant management and supervisory experience
·        Computer literacy
Â
Preferred:
Experience with culturally diverse populations. Experience working with children/teens especially in a school-based setting. Q/A and Q/I experience. Program management.
