Program Director- Inpatient/OutpatientCurrently, RehabCare is offering a Full Time management opportunity for a Program Director for our 27-bed Inpatient acute rehab unit (ARU) and Outpatient and Med-Surg unit within Mission Regional Medical Center in Mission, TX. About Mission Regional Medical Center, TX Mission Hospital, a 138 bed state-of-the-art, JCAHO accredited, not-for-profit facility has been in existence as a community hospital since 1954. Several expansions and restructuring led to a new facility which opened in 1987. Mission Hospital offers a complete medical laboratory, Intensive Care Units, surgical suites, full service pharmacy, home health care and a complete continuum of outpatient services, including one-day-surgery, diagnostic and rehabilitation services. Dedicated to health care in the upper Rio Grande Valley, Mission Hospital broke ground on its $33.4 million expansion in 1997. The hospital expanded obstetrics and emergency department facilities, increased outpatient services and added a medical office building. About Mission, TX. This tropical location is minutes from Mexico and only 1.5 hours from South Padre Island and the Gulf of Mexico. Mission, McAllen and Edinburg, TX enjoy average temperatures in 70s during the Winter months and in the upper 80s to 90s in the Spring and Summer months and have a combined population of over 550,000 people with a local community college and a major university located in the community.Job Requirements: The incumbent shall be responsible for the total operation of the rehabilitation program. The incumbent plans, directs and coordinates program activities to ensure that company and client goals are met. The incumbent has the authority to extend offers of employment and to dismiss from employment. The incumbent shall also demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, and problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion.
