Product Manager

 

American Medical Alert Corp. (NASDAQ:AMAC), a provider of healthcare communication services and advanced telehealth monitoring technologies is seeking a Product Manager for its expanding  Health and Safety Monitoring Services product portfolio. The Product Manager will be responsible for managing all marketing aspects of the medication management business, including the development and execution of market entry plans, sales force requirements, and distribution partner alliances.

 

The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of medical device product marketing experience, a Bachelor's degree in marketing or other relevant field experience and a track record of success!

 

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute product marketing, distribution, and pricing plans schedules.

 

Analyze target markets to establish key business partners to accelerate product visibility, acceptance, and sales.

 

Work closely with key customers and prospects to identify, screen, and prioritize market opportunities.

 

Participate in decisions regarding product positioning, packaging, and media advertising.

 

Evaluate and manage product introductions to key markets and trade publications.

 

Collaborate with CRO’s and healthcare providers in research studies to validate product offering as part of health improvement and cost reduction efforts.

 

Prepare a variety of reports and correspondence including data in reference to contribution analysis, projected growth, competition, potential new accounts, and sales trends.

 

Assist in development of product training materials, sales aids, news releases, and product updates.

 

Coordinate with Communications officer for the preparation of promotional materials.

 

Act as a liaison between marketing and engineering to help guide product/technology development and improvement initiatives.

 

Work with IT to commercialize monitoring service feature to consumers and healthcare stakeholders (i.e. pharma, CRO’s, MCO’s, Third-Party Payers, home care etc)

 

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare marketing or related field and 5-7 years product marketing experience, with 2-5 years hands-on consumer health products marketing (or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience).  Clinical background a plus but not required.

 Demonstrated ability to create marketing plans that achieve product and company objectives.

 Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external groups.

 Excellent business writing and communication skills with the ability to persuade others. 

 

Strong computer skills and high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

 

Highly organized self-starter with drive and initiative. 

 

Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

 

Ability to work independently and in a team setting. 

 

 

Compensation Package

 

60K-80K plus commission based incentive program.
