Print Production Traffic Coordinator
Position Summary: Maintain project list for all jobs affecting marketing, newsletter/communications and other department’s jobs. Track job status on a daily basis. Set vendor deadlines based on Production Manager’s schedule. Maintain all job folders including printed samples. Open all jobs and fill out most Purchase Orders. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform all duties in a manner, which meets company performance and behavior expectations. Managing routing process of projects. Receive proofs in, route, check changes, some follow up with vendor questions, provide new due dates for next proof, update project list and document process on all job folders. Open jobs; maintain electronic archive on shared drive, file samples, close folders and archived folders. Work with Production Artist and outside writers to complete production. Complete & file purchase orders and request some print estimates from vendors. Miscellaneous PC production. Coordinate promotion art files and ensure they get to the correct person on time. Non-Essential or Secondary Functions:None Supervisory Responsibilities:None Education and Experience Requirements: 5 year in print production and 1 year lettershop experience is required 2 years of project management. Required Skills: Ability to: multi-task, organize materials, prioritize projects, set schedules, work in a team environment. Strong knowledge on Microsoft Word & Excel and PowerPoint. Strong written/verbal communication skills. Strong organization skills. Preferred Skills Print/graphics design knowledge. Experience in print and creative estimation. Physical/Mental Demands: Lifting boxes of printed materials.Distributing (walking) samples.
