Primary / Expressive / Recreational Therapist - Eating Disorder Treatment Center

Shoreline Center for Eating Disorder Treatment in Long Beach, CA

is seeking an primary, expressive and or recreational therapist to join our compassionate treatment team.  We are a dedicated staff providing outpatient, intensive outpatient, day treatment programs as well as an Extended Care Residence to those in recovery from Anorexia and Bulimia Nervosa.

 

The ideal candidate will have direct experience working  clients in recovery from eating and co-occuring disorders.

 

Responsibilities might include:

  providing individual, group and family therapy participating in mindful meals with clients consistent and direct communication with treatment professioals both on and off site accuratly documentation of clinical records according to center policy attending and participating in treatment team meetings weekly Utilization reviews and case management of assigned clients

 

We offer our clients a broad variety of interventions, including expressive and experiential therapies. In that regard, we are looking to add staff with expertise in this are.

 

We are a small center with a passion for helping individuals in recovery and are looking for someone with the same dedication.

 

The position will is part-time but can consider full time for the right person with the right experience.
