PHYSICIAN EXTENDER CARDIOLOGY

Full time 8a - 5p Monday - Friday with weekend On Call

This position will coordinate with other PA's and rotate full days between the hospital setting and the office practice. Position will also have call rotation. Responsible for providing consults and making rounds of inpatients in the hospital under the direction of MD's at the hospital. Duties at the practice include obtaining complete history and physical data on patients, reviewing patient records, ordering appropriate lab and diagnostic procedures, and providing monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
PA licensed to practice in North Carolina. Certification required. Applicants need to have interest in cardiology. Experience working with cardiac patients preferred. Previous experience and/or rotation preferred.
