Physician Billing & Collection Account Manager
Global Healthcare Alliance an enterprise software provider and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) solutions firm, is looking for a Physician Billing & Collection Account Manager.
This individual will have a critical role in A/R Management, Client Satisfaction & Implementation with our client offices. This position will require approximately 50% travel, involving overnight stays. The ideal candidate will have exemplary knowledge of medical billing procedures and practices, including all aspects of front office/back office duties. Tasks include: development of training tools, policy and procedure creation, documentation and development of audit procedures; excellent knowledge of payer contracts, billing procedures, appeals and collection processes. Tracking and trending will be required to identify process improvement in all aspect of central business operations.
Responsibilities
· Tracking and analyzing issues and trends
· Coordination of implementation duties with client and corporate staff
· Maintain and organize training for client and corporate staff as it relates to system utilization and upgrades
· Liaison between client offices and billing/collections team
· Complete audits, benchmark and quantify against national and regional levels of productivity (i.e. MGMA, TMA, etc)
· Create and Analyze financial reports, fee schedules, payer trends, and A/R measurement statistics
· Ability to clearly and professionally present information to large and small groups
· Provide enhancement ideas to further improve the software package(s) offered by our organization
· Communicates and documents project plans with clients and corporate leadership team
· Troubleshooting, identifying risk or future system needs in a proactive manner
· Build and improve customer service with all internal and external customers of GHA
Requirements
· BA/BS degree in healthcare, business administration or finance preferred and/or
equivalent
· 5-7 years experience in revenue cycle management with an emphasis on training,
and physician billing/collections
· Strong computer systems and applications experience
· Physician Front Office Operations experience
· Experience in system implementation
· Meeting deadlines
· Ability to develop training materials and competency testing
· Analytical skills/detail oriented
· Knowledge of medical terminology/coding
· Flexibility, able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
· Excellent customer service skills
· Self-motivated/directed with exemplary organizational skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
