One of our preferred clients is seeking a physical therapist for a full time contract opportunity at their hospital in the Philadelphia area. The hospital is in need of a physical therapist with inpatient experience, to work at their 239-bed, medical/surgical facility that offers comprehensive health and wellness services for the whole family.
Position Description
The Staff Physical Therapist is concerned with the provision of direct patient care and clerical/administrative responsibilities associated with that patient care. Patient care includes but is not limited to the coordination of rehabilitative services to provide benefit to patients and their support mechanisms (family, care givers, etc...). Services include manual tissue treatment, use of modalities, education in use of assistive devices, exercise programs and safety issues.
Position Requirements
~Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Pennsylvania.
~Must possess strong patient assessment, patient management, and documentation skills.
~Must possess a strong commitment to the goals, mission, and philosophy of the organization.
~Ability to work flexible hours as required and to meet identified patient needs.
~Absolute integrity and the use of good judgment to handle the professional and confidential nature of assignments.
~Ability to adapt to changing organizational needs.
