Physical Therapist-work as a full time pediatric Physical Therapist
Physical Therapist-Pediatric -
School-based Physical Therapist needed for 2008-2009 school year in Philadelphia, close to Delaware County border. Great full-time or part-time opportunity YOU design your day – you can work as few hours as you would like up to full-time!
Along with academics, the school offers many special services and activities that are important to children who are blind or who have visual impairment. Orientation and mobility teachers help their students learn how to be comfortable in their surroundings and safely get from place to place. They teach daily living skills to help students be more independent in tasks like dressing, food preparation, cleaning up, and using money. There are therapists and psychologists available to support students according to needs indicated in their Individualized Education Plans (IEP). They have full sports, music and art programs. They teach social skills in the classroom, and during community activities and planned social events. They are always working to make sure that the campus is safe and accessible for all students, including those in wheelchairs.
