Weekends Responsibilities: Evaluate patients and establishes realistic functional treatment goals, and develop necessary treatment plans. Provide direct patient treatment such as therapeutic exercise, functional training, massage, heat/cold, and electrical stimulation. Complete required records including physician orders, assessments/care plans, clinical visit notes, route sheets, communication notes and discharge summaries. Skills: Appropriate clinical judgment and communication skills. Knowledge of home health. Must be self-directed and able to work with little supervision. Ability to establish and maintain a courteous and cooperative relationship with patients, families and co-workers. Requirements: Licensed by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee of the CA Board of Medical Quality Assurance. Current BLS-CPR cert. One year experience in a health care setting. CA drivers license plus proof of car insurance.
