Acute:Provides services in all areas of the hospital including: ICU, Surgical, Cardiac, Orthopedic, Neuro, OP and IP Wound Care, Oncology, Pediatric, and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Our team offers collaborative, professional interactions daily with physicians/surgeons, nurses, therapy staff, social services, respiratory care and wound care specialists. Full-time physical therapists work a 36 hour/4 day per week schedule which help us meet the needs of the patients we serve and meet the professional and personal needs of our employees. Home Care:Enjoy therapy where it really makes a difference -- in the reality of the patient's home environment. One-on-one patient care, variety of cases, never a dull day! This position plans and administers physical therapy treatment programs for physician referred patients to restore or achieve optimal function, prevent disability and relieve pain following injury or illness. Home Care is a licensed, Medicare-certified, skilled, physician ordered service that is provided to residents of Marion, Polk, Yamhill, Clackamas, Linn and Benton counties in their place of residence. Working in the home care setting allows: Laptop computer documentation; work from home; autonomous practice within multi-disciplinary teams; mileage reimbursement and flexible scheduling. Outpatient Musculoskeletal:The Musculoskeletal program includes general and specialized orthopedic injuries and surgeries, aquatic therapy and sports medicine. Other programs include lymphedema, hand therapy, arthritis, and manual therapy specialties. Clinic hours are currently 7am-5:30pm, Monday through Friday. Work shifts vary and many of our staff work four ten-hour work days. Outpatient Neuromuscular:We are proud to be the only comprehensive service of its kind serving the Mid-Willamette Valley. Our services include: speech - language pathologists, rehabilitation psychologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists and medical social workers. These specialty services target specific patient groups including: pediatrics, post polio, aquatic therapy, vestibular disorders, safe driving evaluation, spinal cord injuries, balance/vestibular physical therapy, brain injury, and continence. Work Injury Management:This program provides the opportunity to work with a focused team approach to rehabilitating the injured worker. The Work Injury Management program works closely with the Occupational Medicine program and have dedicated staff to provide a comprehensive approach to injury management. West Valley Hospital (Outpatient):Our clinic has a staff of 4 physical therapists, 2 physical therapist assistants, full time athletic trainer, part time occupational therapist, part time speech –language pathologist and 3 support staff. Special highlights about our outpatient program include an aquatic program, osteoporosis program, incontinence program, fall prevention, an arthritic program and an active sports medicine program from a full time ATC. In addition to those programs, we also provide inpatient services to limited numbers of inpatients and swing bed patients. In efforts of serving our neighboring community of Monmouth/Independence and expanding our rehabilitative arena of care, we have launched state of the art outpatient facility in Monmouth-Independence. We have an excellent reputation in both communities and an extensive physician referral base. New Grads encouraged to apply. Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: Able to perform minimum to heavy physical work occasionally. Required to be competent with transfers of 75 pounds and lift 50 pounds unaided using appropriate body mechanics.
