Currently, we have immediate opportunities for a licensed Physical Therapist and PTA’s with OUTPATIENT FACILITIES, HOSPITALS, and Skilled Nursing Facilities in Palm Beach, Broward and Dade County. Qualified candidates will possess a current, valid Florida PT license and a degree from an accredited university.  Both, experienced candidates and recent graduates, will be considered.

 

The Licensed Physical Therapist will be responsible for:

·         Evaluating/assessing needs of referred patients and formulating treatment plans.

·         Provides therapy services defined in treatment plans.

·       Follow up on therapeutic plan following discharge be designing home exercise programs,   

         instructing patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs.

·         Work cooperatively with Physicians, Case Managers, and Adjusters. 

·         May supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, Aides, and/or Athletic Trainers.

·         Requires a degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university.

·         Must possess a valid Florida Physical Therapist license or be eligible for licensure. 

·         Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. 

·         Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performs a variety of tasks. 

·         Maintain accurate records of the patient’s treatment.

 

The Licensed PTA will be responsible for:

·        Assisting the Physical Therapist with a patient’s rehabilitative activities to help reduce pain and improve mobility.

·         Assisting in exercise instruction and demonstration.

·         Patient evaluation and testing.

·         Requires an associate’s degree from an accredited program and a Florida licensure as a

        Physical Therapy Assistant.

·         Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

·         Relies on experience and judgment to accomplish goals.

·         Reports to a Physical Therapist and/or Rehabilitation Director.
