Physical Therapist

The Physical Therapy Department at United Hospital System, Inc. is seeking a dynamic orthopedic and sports physical therapist to join our experienced rehab team at the beautiful LakeView RecPlex location and the St. Catherine’s Medical Center Campus.

 

The LakeView RecPlex is located inside beautiful Prairie Springs Park midway between Chicago and Milwaukee along the shores of scenic Lake Andrea. It is the largest community fitness and wellness facility in Southeastern Wisconsin, featuring a 60,000 square foot Field House, a 17,000 square foot Aquatics Center, 8,000 square foot Fitness Center and 1/6 mile suspended jogging track. The IcePlex is adjacent to the facility featuring two professional ice rinks. Outdoors, Prairie Springs Park features acres of recreational areas, including four softball/baseball fields, a 2.25-mile asphalt trail, archery range and sand volleyball pits. Lake Andrea is a spring fed lake, ideal for swim and sail events.

 

The RecPlex has partnered with United Hospital System to offer comprehensive outpatient therapy programs including sports physical therapy, orthopedic and spine care, industrial rehabilitation and athletic performance training.

 

Qualifications:  Must be a graduate of a school for physical therapy.  Must be accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.  Current Wisconsin licensure or eligible for State licensure is required. New graduates with orthopedic experience are encouraged to apply.

 

Responsibilities:  Will be responsible for varied caseload, including spine rehab, orthopedics, sports medicine, and industrial rehabilitation. Assist with direction, delegation, and supervision of support staff. Manual treatment techniques including, traction, joint mobilization, massage, myofascial release, PNF, passive/resistive range of motion.
