Pharmacy Technician Supervisor
The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day pharmacy technician operations including planning, production, turnaround and monitoring of daily activities for technician staff.
· Manage daily workflow planning to ensure quality and productivity goals are successfully met.
· Promote and monitor compliance with standards, policies and procedures
· Conduct daily meetings which include reporting of production hours, project volume and department staff to meet operations needs and goals
· Ensure prompt resolution of exceptions to meet service objectives.
· Confer with management team to recommend changes in order to avoid recurring customer complaints and ensure consistency
· Manage the performance coaching process and internal quality counseling
· Research and recommend operational improvement to Director of Operations
· Develop and coordinate pharmacy activities to ensure operational quality and productivity goals are successfully met.
· Manage timely processing of orders from entry through shipping.
· Facilitate operational work flow to maximize patient service.
· Direct and support production and quality activities and priorities in keeping with quality control and cost factors.
· Confer and monitor staff on established performance and quality standards.
· Maintain positive environment for successful compliance with EEO objectives.
Qualifications
· Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel and T-Rex
· Strong analytical and statistical abilities
· Strong leadership skills
· Coaching and facilitation skills
· Ability to make decisions in a fast paced, high stress environment
· Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong organizational skills and time management skills
· Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
Preferred
· Previous mail order experience in a health environment
· Previous supervisory experience in a quality process improvement environment
